Elizabeth Prats is a Cuban American author-illustrator and award-winning communications professional. She writes middle grade and young adult fiction featuring epic adventures and fierce Latinx heroes.

She’s on the board of Third Lantern Lit, an organization focused on making the writing industry more accessible.

She originally grew up in Miami, where her abuela started her coffee addiction. It’s probably why she’s so short. Today, Elizabeth resides in New Orleans with her two cats, and can typically be found strolling through the tree-lined streets, iced latte in hand.
